Overview
Ancient Assyrtiko vines — some 400 years old, ungrafted (phylloxera cannot survive in volcanic ash soil) — produce one of the world's most electric dry whites. Volcanic pumice and basalt, constant Aegean winds, and near-desert conditions concentrate the grapes intensely.
